Earwigs are nocturnal helpers that combat harmful aphids and spider mites. During the day, they retreat to their houses, which can hold up to 100 individuals. Place the house near the ground above a branch stub or on a wooden stake in your rose or vegetable bed. Between May and October, these little garden helpers will take over their work – completely independently and without chemicals.

Lacewing house: Aphid lions in action

Lacewing larvae, also known as "aphid lions," are voracious predators of pests. Hang a lacewing house on fruit trees in autumn, fill it with straw, and let the insects overwinter until the end of April. In spring, the larvae and adult lacewings will immediately begin controlling pests.

Insect waterer: Water for hot and dry days

Our insect hotel collects rainwater and provides flying insects with a safe drinking source. The lower edge of the hotel acts as a water trough, which is used only by beneficial insects – ants are kept out.
