Product Description

Practical travel dog blanket with soft, durable thermal padding for high lying comfort. When folded, the travel blanket is a carrying bag and can be transformed into a dog blanket in just a few simple steps. Personal items can be safely stowed in the sewn-on outer pockets and in the blanket itself. The outer fabric is so tightly woven that dirt can be easily shaken out and moisture from the ground is not absorbed. Completely washable at 95°C – after washing, it is free of dirt, germs, parasites, and unpleasant odors.

Size Recommendation

• Size L – Dimensions: 100 x 75 cm; Back length: up to 52 cm. Dog breed examples: Small Münsterländer, Border Collie, Chow Chow.
• Size XL – Dimensions: 120 x 105 cm; Back length: up to 60 cm. Dog breed examples: Labrador, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd.

Manufacturing Quality

Only twill fabric with a 3/1 weave is used for manufacturing. Before cutting, the fabric is ironed at 3 bar pressure and over 100°C, making it smoother and more water-repellent. Dirt and dog hair can be shaken off more easily. The fabrics are tabled and checked for flaws, and the subsequent cutting is done by hand. The seams are joined using the stable quilt-stitch method. All products are finally checked by hand.

Care Instructions

All Doctor Bark dog blankets are washed ENTIRELY at 95°C, not just the cover.

Preparation

• Shake out hair and coarse dirt; use a vacuum cleaner for heavy shedding.
• If necessary, pre-treat stubborn stains with stain remover spray or a microfiber cloth.
• Turn dog beds inside out so that inner corners can be cleaned.

Washing

• When using Doctor Bark Textile Washing & Care Detergent: Pour 50 ml into the detergent compartment.
• For other delicate detergents: observe manufacturer's dosage.
• Do not use fabric softener or silicone remover.
• Use washing balls or tennis balls so that the filling regains volume after washing.
• Select basic setting "delicate cycle" with a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm.

Drying

• Lightly shake out and put into the tumble dryer with washing or tennis balls; set to "delicate drying".
• Alternatively, air dry in a warm, well-ventilated place; dry within 3–4 hours.
• During air drying, shake out well several times and pull into shape.
