Wren – small bird, big song

Although the wren is one of the smallest birds in Europe, its song is remarkable. Its strong, melodious song can be heard from early morning until late evening. The wren also eats a lot of insects and vermin – making it a valuable helper in the garden.

Easy installation in the garden

The wren prefers nesting sites close to the ground in hedges and bushes. The included rope allows for flexible and gentle installation of the nesting box. If hung slightly higher, it also serves as a nesting aid for blue tits and other small tit species.

Practical cleaning

The roof of the nesting box is attached to the body with ropes, protecting it from martens and cats. For cleaning, the roof is simply pulled upwards, allowing the nesting box to be easily washed out. Cleaning should be done no later than early autumn.
