The wild bee house was specially designed for common solitary bee species. A total of 63 nesting tubes with varying diameters offer suitable breeding sites for numerous wild bee species. The tubes are smoothly finished and free of sharp edges, ensuring that the insects' delicate wings are not damaged.

The wild bee house is made of high-quality CeraNatur® ceramic. This material has a climate-regulating effect and reliably protects the brood from moisture and mold. Heat stored during the day is slowly released, ensuring a stable climate inside the nesting tubes.

Easy installation in the garden

The back of the wild bee house features a recess for secure hanging. This allows the nesting aid to be easily attached to trees, pergolas, walls, or buildings. The location should be sunny and stable to provide optimal conditions for the wild bees. An unobstructed flight path without dense foliage is essential.

The wild bee house remains in place all year round. Cleaning is not necessary.

Fascinating facts about wild bees

Over 500 species of wild bees live in Germany, of which more than 230 are considered endangered. In spring, wild bees create several brood cells in their nesting tubes and then seal them with a natural mortar. After a few days, the larvae hatch, develop further in the cocoon, and overwinter protected in the nest until the following spring.
