Handmade leather martingale collar
The martingale leather collar from the "Waldgeist" collection is handcrafted in our Munich workshop using traditional techniques. It combines natural materials with a functional martingale design and is suitable for everyday use.
Thanks to its martingale-stop function, the collar limits pulling on the neck and facilitates controlled, comfortable handling of the dog. It is available in various widths to fit different dog sizes and needs.

Materials & workmanship
Vegetable-tanned cowhide
The martingale collar is made from particularly soft and robust cowhide leather , which is vegetable-tanned in a German tannery. Subsequent treatment with natural oils and waxes ensures suppleness and durability.
This tanning process creates natural color nuances, and the leather develops an individual patina over time.
Only leather from free-range animals is used for the food industry.
Saddle stitching & fittings
The collar is entirely handmade with an extremely strong saddle stitch . Double-twisted linen thread from France is used. As a purely natural material, the color of the thread may fade slightly over time.
The edges are carefully polished with beeswax . High-quality fittings made of chrome or antique brass complete the workmanship and ensure a long service life.
Care & Handling
To care for the martingale leather collar, regularly wipe it with a dry cloth. If necessary, we recommend treating it with the leather care product "Bee" .

Die Größenangaben beziehen sich auf den eng am Hund gemessenen Halsumfang.
Sind Halsumfang und Kopfumfang identisch, ist ein Zugstopp-Halsband für deinen Hund nicht geeignet.
Messanleitung
Hals- und Kopfumfang direkt am Hund messen:
- Dein Hund sollte dabei stehen oder sitzen.
- Am besten ein flexibles Maßband verwenden.
- Halsumfang dort messen, wo das Halsband später sitzen soll.
- Kopfumfang an der breitesten Stelle des Kopfes über die Ohren messen.
- Bitte ohne zusätzlichen Spielraum messen – wir passen das Halsband optimal an.
Vorhandenes Halsband vermessen:
- Ein flexibles Maßband verwenden.
- Innenumfang des zugezogenen Halsbandes messen (Halsumfang).
- Innenumfang des geweiteten Halsbandes messen (Kopfumfang).
