The Heart Fragrance & Drinking Stone combines two special ceramics: Porosium and porous Granicium. The combination and fusion of these materials creates an open-pored structure capable of absorbing liquids. Each heart is carefully handcrafted, resulting in an individual texture that makes every piece unique.
Placed in a bird bath, the heart can be partially submerged in water. The open-pored ceramic absorbs water within a short time and keeps the surface moist. This creates a suitable landing and drinking area for insects, which can take the water directly from the damp ceramic.
The heart is also versatile enough to be used as a fragrance stone. To use it this way, place it in a suitable dish and sprinkle it with a few drops of aroma oil, perfume, or fragrance essence. The open-pored surface absorbs the liquid and then gradually releases the scent into the surrounding area.
To clean the heart, it can be washed with dish soap and a soft brush or cleaned in the dishwasher. For stains or discoloration, eco-friendly oxygen bleach can also be used to remove them effectively.
