Easy setup and maintenance

For successful colonization by bumblebees:

• Orient the entrance opening to the east
• Place directly on the garden soil; the base plate protects against moisture.
• Insert the supplied nesting wool and protect it from direct midday sun.
• Once established, do not change the location – bumblebees faithfully return.

Year-round use

In spring, the bumblebee moves into its nest, and in autumn the castle serves as a safe winter quarters for the young queens. This way, gardeners benefit from these industrious pollinators all year round.
