Hedgehog-Snail - Hedgehog House for Winter & Summer

A safe home for the prickly garden dweller

The hedgehog snail offers your garden visitor a protected retreat where it can sleep undisturbed, raise its young, and survive the winter. A quiet spot, away from dogs and cats, is transformed into a true hedgehog paradise with this special shelter.

Thoughtful design meets natural materials

The handcrafted snail-shaped hedgehog enclosure, made from frost-resistant CeraNatur® ceramic, stores heat during the day and releases it at night – ideal for the hedgehog's nightly forays. The ceramic is UV-resistant, seawater-resistant, and mold-resistant. Easy to clean and durable, it will safely accompany your spiky guests through all seasons for many years to come.

Comfortable and close to nature

• Spacious interior for sleeping, hibernation and rearing
• Simply covering with leaves, straw or bark mulch is possible.
• No elaborate cleaning is necessary, just remove old nesting material after hibernation.

Sustainability and quality from Germany

The hedgehog snail is handcrafted in Germany and comes with a 15-year material guarantee. Experts recommend it as a safe retreat for hedgehogs, which are increasingly struggling to find suitable shelter in our ever more manicured gardens.

Biology meets gardening friendship

The European hedgehog (also known as the brown-breasted hedgehog) is a nocturnal garden helper that feeds on insects and larvae. A female hedgehog gives birth to four to seven young once a year between July and September. With the hedgehog snail, you can support these fascinating animals in their natural life cycle without having to move them.
