Leather leash handmade in Munich

The leather leash from the "Waldgeist" collection is traditionally handcrafted in our Munich workshop . It combines natural materials, meticulous workmanship, and versatile uses for everyday walks.

Thanks to the 3-way adjustability, the leash can be individually adapted to different situations – whether led short, carried over the shoulder or with more freedom of movement for the dog.

Material & workmanship

Vegetable-tanned cowhide

The leather leash is made of particularly soft and robust cowhide , which is vegetable-tanned in a German tannery. The leather is then treated with natural oils and waxes.

This type of tanning ensures natural color nuances and allows for the development of an individual patina over time.

Only leather from free-range animals is used for the food industry.

Saddle stitching & fittings

The leather leash is entirely hand-stitched with an extremely strong saddle stitch . Double-twisted linen thread from France is used. As it is a natural product without chemical additives, the thread's color may fade slightly over time.

The edges are meticulously polished with beeswax . High-quality fittings made of chrome or antique brass ensure stability, safety, and long-lasting everyday use.

Care instructions

Regularly wipe the leather leash with a dry cloth. If necessary, we recommend treating it with "Bee" leather care product.
