Handmade leather martingale collar for your dog

The padded martingale leather collar from the "Wildfang" collection is handcrafted in our Munich workshop using traditional techniques. It combines vegetable-tanned leather, sturdy saddle stitching, and soft suede padding to create a functional and comfortable collar for everyday use.

The integrated martingale loop allows for controlled leash attachment without putting unnecessary strain on the neck. Thanks to the various widths available, the collar is suitable for different dog sizes.

Materials & workmanship

Vegetable-tanned cowhide

The martingale collar is made from particularly soft yet robust cowhide leather . This leather comes from a German tannery and is vegetable-tanned and treated with natural oils and waxes.

This tanning process ensures natural color nuances and allows for the development of an individual patina over time.

Only leather from free-range animals is used for the food industry.

Soft suede upholstery

The inner lining is made of suede (velour leather) from a small tannery in Tuscany. This leather is also purely vegetable-tanned – entirely without chemical fixatives.

The padding sits comfortably against the neck and increases wearing comfort, especially during longer periods of use.

Traditional saddle stitching

The collar is entirely hand-stitched with an extremely strong saddle stitch . Double-twisted linen thread from France is used.

Since it is a natural product without chemical additives, the color of the yarn may fade slightly over time.

Care instructions

Regularly wipe the martingale leather collar with a dry cloth. If necessary, we recommend conditioning it with "Bee" leather care product.
