Natural feeding with an unobstructed view – the hanging bird feeder for balconies, terraces and gardens

A safe, stylish, and well-designed bird feeder can make all the difference when it comes to providing birds with a protected feeding place year-round. This hanging feeder combines high-quality materials, functional design, and optimal viewing options. Its transparent construction allows you to keep an eye on the birds at all times, while wild birds can easily approach from all sides.

Thoughtful design for greater safety and comfort

The bird feeder was specially designed to allow birds to feed undisturbed. Its elevated position protects against cats and other ground predators, while preventing mice and rodents from accessing the food. At the same time, the open design allows birds to land from all sides – ideal for different species and natural flight patterns.

Unobstructed approach from all directions

The design allows for a 360° approach zone. Birds can reach the feeder from any side without being restricted by narrow openings or perches.

Secure footing for birds and insects

The slightly rough edge of the ceramic bowl provides optimal grip. This allows both small songbirds and insects to find a secure footing when landing or drinking.

Perfect for birdwatching

Thanks to its transparent design, the bird feeder offers an unobstructed view of the feathered visitors. This makes it ideal for nature lovers, families, or amateur ornithologists who want to observe birds up close.

Robust materials for year-round use

Stainless steel construction

All load-bearing steel components are made of particularly strong, rust-free stainless steel. This makes the construction durable, weatherproof, and ensures reliable stability even with continuous outdoor use.

Granicium® ceramic bowl

The high-quality ceramic bowl is made of Granicium®. This material is particularly durable and perfectly suited for outdoor use.

• frost-resistant
• UV-resistant
• seawater resistant
• robust and durable

Stormproof construction

The sturdy ring construction holds the bowl securely in position. Even in windy conditions, the bird feeder remains reliably suspended, providing birds with a safe feeding station.

Flexible use – bird feeder and bird bath in one system

The system is versatile. With the appropriate bowl, it can be used as both a feeding station and a bird bath. This allows the accessories to be optimally adapted to the season.

Year-round deployment

• Spring & Summer: Use as a birdbath
• Autumn & Winter: Use as a bird feeder

The feeding version has small drainage holes to allow rainwater to run off. The drinking version is closed and suitable for fresh water or a small birdbath.

Easy assembly without tools

Assembly is straightforward and takes only a few minutes. No tools are required.

Step-by-step assembly

1. Place the roof on the stainless steel ring.
2. Secure with the screw sleeve.
3. Screw the holder into the sleeve from above.
4. Hang the ceramic bowl in the ring.
5. The integrated groove of the shell fits precisely into the radius of the ring and secures it firmly.
6. Add food or fill with water.

If the existing suspension is too short, the height can easily be extended with a chain or a sturdy rope.

Tips for optimal placement

• Ideal for balconies, terraces or garden trees.
• It's best to place it hanging freely so that cats can't access it.
• A quiet location increases the likelihood that birds will use the feeding station regularly.
• Sufficient distance from windows prevents collisions.

Hygienic cleaning and care

Regular cleaning protects birds from pathogens and ensures a permanently safe feeding station.

Recommended cleaning

1. Remove the bowl from the ring.
2. Clean thoroughly with water and a brush.
3. For heavier soiling, use a natural vinegar cleaner.
4. Rinse the bowl thoroughly.
5. Reattach and refill.

Cleaning every two days is recommended, especially in warm weather or with intensive use.

Summer feeding – support for native wild birds

In many regions, birds find less natural food even in summer. Experts therefore recommend supplementary, species-appropriate summer feeding. Special bird food is available in specialist shops or from nature conservation organizations and is particularly helpful during breeding and rearing seasons.

High-quality handwork

The bird feeder is manufactured in Germany and impresses with its precise workmanship and durable materials. It was developed in collaboration with a designer and ornithologist, ensuring that both functionality and animal welfare were taken into account.
