The padded martingale leather collar from the "Wildfang" collection is traditionally handcrafted in our Munich manufactory. It combines vegetable-tanned leather, sturdy saddle stitching, and soft suede padding to create a functional and comfortable collar for everyday use.
The integrated martingale function allows for controlled leashing without unnecessary strain on the neck. Thanks to the various widths available, the collar is suitable for different dog sizes.
For the martingale collar, particularly soft yet robust cowhide leather is used. This comes from a German tannery and is vegetable-tanned and treated with natural oils and waxes.
This tanning process creates natural color nuances and allows for the development of an individual patina over time.
Only leather from free-range animals raised for the food industry is used.
The inner padding consists of suede (velour leather) from a small tannery in Tuscany. This leather is also purely vegetable-tanned – completely without chemical fixatives.
The padding lies comfortably against the neck and increases wearing comfort, especially during prolonged use.
The collar is sewn entirely by hand with an extremely sturdy saddle stitch. Double-twisted linen thread from France is used.
As it is a natural product without chemical additives, the color of the thread may fade slightly over time.
Regularly wipe the martingale leather collar with a dry cloth. If necessary, we recommend caring for it with the leather care product "Bee".
