The "Ahoi" rope puppy collar was specially developed for the sensitive needs of small dogs. In our Munich manufactory, we handcraft each collar from sustainable materials – particularly light, gentle, and comfortable to wear.
This gives your puppy a collar right from the start that provides security without being cumbersome and offers a good feeling when first worn.
The rope puppy collar is adjustable and grows with your puppy. It reliably accompanies them through their first months of life and adapts perfectly at all times.
The cotton rope used is made from recycled organic cotton and is as strong as a sailor's knot. Originally designed for seafaring, it combines high tear resistance with pleasant flexibility – ideal for everyday life with your dog.
The rope is complemented by particularly soft and robust cowhide leather, which is vegetable-tanned in a German tannery. The tanning process uses no chemical fixatives and is refined with natural oils and waxes.
This process creates natural color nuances and, over time, an individual patina – making each collar unique.
Our rope collars are hand-dyed with vegan, plant-based textile dyes. This means no two collars are exactly alike.
As the natural cotton rope absorbs the dye differently, the color may not penetrate to the core of the rope – a sign of true craftsmanship and natural materials.
Should the colors fade over time, we can of course re-dye the rope collar.
You can also find the matching rope puppy leash in our puppy collection. Together, the collar and leash form a harmonious, functional set for the first adventures together.
Rope: Hand wash with mild detergent
Leather: Wipe with a dry cloth and treat with leather care if necessary
A lovingly crafted puppy collar for all who appreciate sustainability, craftsmanship, and comfort from the very beginning.
To ensure you and your dog get the most enjoyment from your custom-made or adjustable collar, it's important to measure correctly. We've created a measuring guide for our collars.
Please take a close look at these instructions.
| Size | neck circumference | Collar width |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 28 – 32 cm | 1.6 cm |
| S | 32 – 38 cm | 1.6 cm |
| M | 36 – 42 cm | 2.0 cm |
| L | 42 – 48 cm | 2.0 cm |
| XL | 48 – 54 cm | 2.0 cm |
| XXL | 54 – 60 cm | 2.0 cm |
Tip: If your dog is between two sizes or is still growing, We recommend the larger size.
Please use a flexible measuring tape to get the exact measurement. Ideally, have your dog sit. Then measure where the collar will later sit. Please make sure the measuring tape isn't too loose around your dog's neck.

A well-fitting collar is always the best and safest option. Since you're measuring the inner circumference, it doesn't matter whether it's a leather, Biothane, or nylon collar.
Close the collar in the appropriate hole and lay it in front of you. Then, using a measuring tape, measure the inside circumference of the collar. It is important that the measuring tape lies flat against the inside of the collar without any gaps.
